Clinical Trials and Current Studies: Outreach Program

The Outreach program is a specialized visiting nurse program that was designed to provide regular bi-annual assessments to individuals with HD who are now homebound or in assisted or nursing facilities. Mrs. Abbott, a Research Nurse, has specialized in HD for a number of years, and is responsible for conducting these specialized assessments. At each visit the patient will receive a neurological and psychiatric examination. With the patient and/or guardian's request Mrs. Abbott will provide suggestions on the patient's care.
