Dr. Susan J. Zieman is assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and geriatric medicine.
She is particularly interested in cardiovascular aging, geriatric cardiology and hypertension and has focused her research on arterial stiffness and studying cardiovascular disease in Asian Indians.
Dr. Zieman received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She also completed fellowships at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Cardiology and Geriatrics. She obtained her doctorate degree in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
