Dr. Timothy Witham is assistant professor of neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is director of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Spine Center.
His interests include the surgical treatment of degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine. Board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, he has focused on the treatment of spinal tumors, spinal trauma and complex occipital-cervical junction disorders.
Dr. Witham earned a B.S. in biochemistry, with honors from the Pennsylvania State University and a medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as advanced training in complex reconstructive spinal surgery and spinal oncology at Johns Hopkins.
