Rachel Salas, M.D.

A specialist in sleep disorders, Dr. Rachel Salas conducts clinical research on the neurophysiological changes that occur as a result of sleep disorders, such as insomnia. Her primary area of research is exploring the mechanisms of sleep in an effort to promote better diagnoses and management of sleep disorders.

Dr. Salas received her medical degree and completed her neurology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2002. She also completed a two-year sleep medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins.
