Dr. Scott Lifchez is assistant professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University.  He is director of the Hand Surgery Service at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Program Director of the Johns Hopkins Fellowship in Hand Surgery.

He is board-certified in plastic surgery and has a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. His clinical interests are in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and facial reanimation.  

Dr. Lifchez completed medical school at the University of Illinois.  He trained in plastic surgery in the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.  He served as a fellow in Hand and Microsurgery at the Raymond M. Curtis National Hand Center prior to joining the faculty at Johns Hopkins.
