Continuing Education Credit

Please note: 
After checking in at the registration desk the day of the event, those interested in earning continuing education credits should proceed directly to the continuing education table.

Between 8:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. please sign in at the appropriate table for the professional organization. You will be given an evaluation that must be completed and returned at the end of the day. Please note that the professional organizations require full day participation and require you to complete and return the completed CE evaluation to be able to earn CE credit.

A Woman's Journey has received approval from the following professional organizations: 

American Society of Radiologic Technologists - list of approved seminars can be found below.

**NEW POLICY FOR ASRT: To be able to earn CE credit, you are responsible for getting the appropriate line stamped on your individual seminar attendance sheet by an A Woman’s Journey staff member upon ENTERING and EXITING. Failure to do so will DISQUALIFY YOU FROM EARNING CE CREDIT FROM ASRT.


Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists - approved for 6 hours for related areas.

Board of Physical Therapy Examiners - approved for 0.6 CEUs.

Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists - approved for 6 "Category A" contact hours.

Commission for Case Manager Certification - approved for 6 clock hours.

Maryland Board of Pharmacy - approved for 6 live credit hours.

Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice - 6.0 contact hours preapproved by MD Board towards principles and procedures.

Maryland Dietetic Association - approved for 6 CEUs.

Maryland Nurses Association - approved for 6 contact hours.

National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - approved for 6 PDA points

National Commission for Health Education Credentialing - approved for 6 CECH.

National Strength Professionals Association - approved for 12 CE credits.

National Association of Social Workers - approved for 6 credit hours *See note below*

*Note: If you are planning to earn Continuing Education Credits from the National Association of Social Workers, please be aware that the National Association of Social Workers requires an additional payment to earn CE credit. You may pay either by check or in cash. If you plan on paying by check, please make the check out to A Woman's Journey and have it ready before signing in. This will expedite the process.  The fee for NASW members is $8.00 and the fee for non-NASW members is $12.00.
