A Woman's Journey Tampa, St. Petersburg & Sarasota
Our understanding and practice of medicine is progressing as never before. Some of these advancements are the result of technology and collaborations across specialties and institutions, while others are built upon the discoveries of those that preceded this decade. This is an exciting time for healthcare.
Immunotherapy, liquid biopsies and biomarkers are among the medical discoveries that will affect our lives and the lives of those we love. As life expectancy continues to increase, our challenge is how to harness the information and medical innovations to live well and improve our health.
This year’s annual Johns Hopkins Medicine women’s health conference, A Woman’s Journey, is devoted to sharing insights about advances in medicine. Listen to three extraordinary physicians discuss important issues relevant to women: hot topics in aging research, autoimmune disorders and the impact of hormones throughout our lives. The morning truly is a rare opportunity to learn from Johns Hopkins physicians and each other.
