Self Breast Exams

If you have not undergone a bilateral mastectomy and still have breast tissue, you should do a self breast exam regularly. This may be the best way for you to learn how your breasts feel so you can detect any changes. If you are unsure of how to perform a self breast exam and what else to look for around your chest area, make sure to ask one of your health care providers to demonstrate.
