Ginger Muscalli received her bachelor of science in nutrition from the University of Maryland at College Park, and she completed her dietetic Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She started at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1980 as a registered dietitian working with OB/GYN and GYN oncology patients.
Ginger currently manages the medical clinical nutrition staff, including outpatient services and a satellite nutrition center. She has completed the Certified Applied Food Services Sanitation Course and is responsible for management of daily trayline operations. She is vital in establishing policies and procedures and developing new food service programs.
Ginger also serves as site preceptor for the Sodexho Marriott Mid-Atlantic Dietetic Internship Program. In addition to her position at Johns Hopkins, Ginger is a consulting dietitian at Riverview Care Center in Baltimore. She has presented numerous lectures on a variety of topics at the local and state level and is the Consulting Editor of "Diabetic Delights," a recipe book for diabetics that was published in 1994. Ginger stays involved in community and state activities as an active member of the Maryland Dietetic Association, serving as chairperson of both the Honors and Awards Committee and the Continuing Education Committee.
