Denise Longo-Schoeberlein graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She has been employed at Johns Hopkins since 1984, working in oncology nursing. Her past specialty area was hematological malignancies. She has also worked for the Department of Surgery as a senior clinical nurse in the solid organ transplant program. She earned a Masters of Science in Nursing in the Nurse Practitioner Program at Johns Hopkins University in 1999 and continued her employment at Johns Hopkins from 1999 to 2009 as a nurse practitioner in hematological malignancies. She joined the Breast Center team in 2009.
