Our Medical Oncologists

Our medical oncologists specialize in breast cancer and are experienced in treating all types of this disease, including the unusual and complex. A customized treatment plan is created for each patient, based on her input and the specific prognostic factors of her breast cancer. We discuss with our patients the risks and benefits of each treatment so that they are well informed before deciding to undergo treatment.

As home to the first NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Maryland, Johns Hopkins Medicine affords patients the opportunity to be part of clinical trials that offer the maximum potential for long term survival. The adjuvant therapy program offered through our Breast Center closely monitors each patient’s condition throughout every step of  her treatment—transforming her from someone who may have become a victim, to a survivor.
