Directions to the Downtown Baltimore Location

The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center

The Breast Center is located in the main wing of the building on the fourth floor.  When you enter the Outpatient Center, go to the main information desk in the first floor lobby.  Someone will greet you and direct you to the appropriate check-in location.  To get to the Breast Center, take the first set of elevators on the right to the fourth floor.  The Breast Center is across from the elevators and to the right.

From Washington, D.C., and Virginia and I-95 access at Baltimore-Washington International Airport

  • Take I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North) into Baltimore. (Note: Do not take the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. fork of the exit).
  • Turn right at Pratt Street (by Baltimore Convention Center).
  • Stay on Pratt for 1.4 miles to Broadway; turn left on Broadway.
  • Turn left from Broadway onto Orleans Street. Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking.
  • The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.

From Philadelphia, New York and Northeastern Baltimore Suburbs

  • Take I-95 South toward Baltimore to Exit 57 (Boston Street and O‘Donnell Street).
  • Proceed on Boston Street approximately two miles and turn left onto Fleet Street.
  • Follow Fleet Street to Broadway; turn right on Broadway.
  • Turn left from Broadway onto Orleans Street.
  • Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking.
  • The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.

From York, Central Pennsylvania and Northern Baltimore Suburbs

  • Take I-83 South (Harrisburg Expressway) into Baltimore (Note: I-83 becomes the Jones Falls Expressway as you approach Baltimore).
  • Exit at Fayette Street and turn left.
  • Follow Fayette toward the medical campus.
  • Turn left onto Caroline Street
  • Follow the signs to patient parking and Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center (about 1 ½ block).
  • The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.

From Annapolis and Maryland‘s Eastern Shore

  • From Route 50, take I-97 toward Baltimore and follow I-97 to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) toward Towson.
  • Take the Beltway to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (I-295) North.
  • Follow I-295 into Baltimore (it becomes Russell Street). Turn right on Pratt Street.
  • Stay on Pratt from 1.4 mile to Broadway; turn left on Broadway.
  • Turn left from Broadway onto Orleans Street.
  • Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.
  • Follow the signs to patient parking.
  • The entrance to the garage is on McElderry Street on the right.

From Frederick and Western Maryland

  • Take I-70 East to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) East to I-95 North.
  • Take I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 north) into Baltimore.
  • Turn right at Pratt Street (by Baltimore Convention Center).
  • Stay on Pratt for 1.4 miles; turn left on Broadway.
  • Turn left from Broadway onto Orleans Street.
  • Go one block to N. Caroline Street and turn right.

Directions to Green Spring Station

Johns Hopkins Medicine at Green Spring Station is conveniently located at the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) and the Jones Falls Expressway interchange, just minutes from downtown Baltimore, Towson, Owings Mills and Hunt Valley, and only 30 minutes from Columbia, Bel Air, and York, Pennsylvania. Free parking is plentiful. For those using public transportation, the MTA‘s M10 bus stops on the campus of Green Spring Station.

From the North

  • Take I-83 south to I-695.
  • Go west toward Baltimore (far right lane) to exit 23B, Falls Road.
  • Continue north on Falls Road to Green Spring Station, which begins at the corner of Falls Road and Joppa Road. Proceed to the second traffic light, and turn right onto Station Drive.
  • Continue to the four-way stop and Pavilions I and II are directly in front of you. 

From the South

  • Take I-83 north. Bear left, past the exits to the Beltway, until it becomes Falls Road (Rt.25).
  • Proceed 1/2 mile to Green Spring Station, which begins at the corner of Falls Road and Joppa Road. Proceed to the second traffic light, and turn right onto Station Drive.
  • Continue to the four-way stop and Pavilions I and II are directly in front of you.

Patients receiving evaluation and treatment at Johns Hopkins Medicine come from all over the country and the world. If these patients need post-surgery adjuvant therapy, we can help them arrange chemotherapy, medical oncology and/or radiation therapy closer to home.

Discounted Hotel Rates

If you are traveling some distance to us for consultation or for breast cancer surgery, the Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotel can accommodate you. Hopkins patients receive discounted room rates (under $100 per night), plus free transportation between the hospital and the hotel.
