The Johns Hopkins Breast
Center provides many literary resources for
our patients, including many books written by
administrative director Lillie Shockney.
If you are a patient at the Johns Hopkins Breast Center, or thinking about coming here, we invite you to read the following pieces of information, which were designed with you in mind.
We hope and expect our patients to be fully involved in all critical decisions affecting their care and treatment. While many things are unique about our approach to breast cancer treatment, the members of our staff are what make our approach truly special. While we have all the breast cancer specialists you would expect to see at an NCI-Designated Center, including oncologists, surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons and nurses, we also partner with nutritionists, physical therapists, genetic counselors and survivor volunteers.
Our goal is to make all aspects of your treatment as easy and comprehensive as possible, so you and your family can focus on recapturing your health and well-being.
