Breastival™
Breastival™ is an event developed by Lillie Shockney, R.N., administrative director of The Johns Hopkins Breast Center, with the support and enthusiasm of the Alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority at The Johns Hopkins University. This humorous and fun event is designed for college campuses as a way to engage and educate young women about the importance of routine screening for the early detection of breast cancer. Get a Breastival™ planning kit and view photos from our 2001 event.
Bra Run
Since 2002, female motorcycle club Leather & Lace has held Bra Run events to support quality-of-life research programs for breast cancer patients and the patient education fund. Bra Runs are held in various East Coast locations several times a year. On event day, riders pay a fee and ride a specific route. The Bra Run also features education about breast health and breast cancer. View photos of past Bra Run events: 2006.
