RAR maintains highly skilled technicians to assist you with your rodent research. If you don't have need for a full-time technician, use of RAR technicians on a part-time basis will save you money and get you up-to-speed fast. We can provide ongoing support or project-related technical support. We offer the following services at an hourly rate:
- Rodent colony management and pedigree maintenance
- Breeding, weaning and euthanasia
- Identification by ear tag, ear punch or microchip.
- Sample collection (tails, ear punch, buccal swab, blood)
- Genotyping Service (sample collection and outsourced genotyping by QPCR)
- Tail vein injection
- Other as requested
For those wishing to outsource genotyping from their colonies without RAR colony support, vendors include Transnetyx and Harlan
