Operating Room Services

RAR has two dedicated surgery suites available to investigators throughout the institution located in Ross 450S. Each OR has positve pressure ventilation and is equipped with an isoflurance anestheisa machine, mechanical ventilation, pulse oximetry, ECG, and other monitors and equipment. Each OR is primarily used for large animal use such as rabbits, swine, dogs, non-human primates, etc.

Charges:

Use of the surgical suites without the use of an RAR technician or equipment is free. The lab is responsible for cleaning the OR suite.
