2008 Research Day

Research Day
Research Day attendees mingle as they discuss their latest findings.

Research Day provides an opportunity for the department to share the research they have conducted over the past year, and it helps generate ideas for future research projects. It is an informative, collegial day filled with esprit de corps, and one that has been beneficial to the interactions and collaborations of the scientists involved. The 2008 ACCM Research Day marked the 10th anniversary of the event. Ninety-three faculty members, students, and staff presented their recent research findings on Monday, December 8, in the Turner Concourse. The following day, guest speaker Paul Fox, PhD, of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation gave a special luncheon seminar titled "Translational control of macrophage inflammatory gene expression."
