The mission of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins is to continue to provide the very best in clinical care, learning and discovery. Our goal is to train residents who are sought after by the leading academic anesthesiology programs for their faculty and by the top clinical practices. The department faculty is committed to excellence in clinical care and education and hold deep academic values.
We repeatedly attract the very best and brightest residents into our resident training program and faculty onto our attending staff. Our clinical training program and basic and clinical research programs have represented the ideal for the specialty for more than a decade.
