Bayview Adult

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a satellite institution where residents can gain intensive experience in advanced vascular and thoracic cases, including carotid endarterectomy, arterial and venous bypass, lobectomy, pneumonectomy, pleurodesis, and other major thoracic surgery. The rotation is senior residents for two weeks to gain experience in intubation for bariatric surgery and care of burn patients. There is also a two week elective available for those who desire more vascular and thoracic anesthesia experience. The call schedule and call frequency are set by Bayview faculty.
