Dr. Pronovost returns to Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine as Vice Chair for Safety

Dr. Peter Pronovost

Dr. Peter Pronovost has recently been appointed to the role of Vice Chair for Safety in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Pronovost has been on a mission to increase safety in hospitals around the country and the globe. He serves as the Director of the Armstrong Institute for Patient Quality and Safety.

With new knowledge and experience gathered from around the world, Dr. Pronovost will initiate a wave of patient safety initiatives within the department, as the department strives to lead the entire institution as a model of safety.
