How to Apply

The application deadline for the 2012-2014 Administrative Fellowship is September 30, 2011.  Eligible applicants are graduates of an accredited domestic health care management program (or MBA program with focus in health care administration).  Applicant must graduate prior to the start of the fellowship, July 2012.

Application and  all accompanying materials must be received in one complete package by SEPTEMBER 30, 2011, and sent to:

Note: Application packets received after SEPTEMBER 30, 2011 will not be considered.

Required application materials are:

• Post-Graduate Fellowship Application - Download Now (Will open as PDF) 
• Three letters of recommendation: At least one from a current or former employer and at least one from a graduate school professor.
• Resume
• Official graduate school transcript
• Personal Statement

Applications will be reviewed as they are received and post card or e-mail notification  will be sent to applicants informing them whether the application is either complete or incomplete.

First round interviews will be conducted October 6, 2011 through October 25, 2011.  These first round interviews may be conducted at one of the following locations: JHH in Baltimore, selected regional site(s), selected school(s) or via teleconference. First round travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the applicant.

Finalists will be selected by November 1, 2011 and will be notified that they have been selected for a final interview by the Fellowship Program Office.

For final interviews, 10 to 12 applicants will come to Baltimore to visit JHH on November 9, 2011 and November 10, 2011. Dinner with the current/past fellows will be held on the evening of  November 9th. Travel and accommodations are courtesy of Johns Hopkins Medicine, though if a candidate must cancel he/she will be responsible for the plane fare if applicable.

Interviews are scheduled from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on November 9th and from 8:00 am to 12:00pm on November 10th with each lasting approximately 30 minutes.
