Valerie L. Goodman, L.C.S.W.-C has been in clinical practice for 35 years providing psychotherapy for a broad range of disorders. She had worked for Maryland Children’s and Family Services and Johns Hopkins Hospital, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She completed her first Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1972. Her second Masters Degree was completed in Social Work in 1980 at the University of Maryland. Ms. Goodman worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1981 to 1986. While there, she was a supervising social worker in Pediatrics and Child Psychiatry for three years. Her psychotherapeutic approaches include individual, couple, and family therapies that address self-esteem and relationships issues accompanied by organizational and judgment skills.
