Dennis Parnell
Dennis Parnell

Senior Vice President of Human Resources. 

With many years of diversified human resources experience, Mr. Parnell has responsibility for the development and leadership of the human resource strategy for the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System. Under his direction are the following: organizational structure, leadership development, recruitment and retention, training and development, benefits and compensation, employee relations, volunteer services and pastoral care.

Prior to joining Suburban, he worked for Marriott International as the vice president of human resources for their Senior Living Services Division for 10 years, having progressed through a series of human resources management roles with Marriott Hotels and Resorts.

Mr. Parnell is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery and serves as a member of their Audit Committee. He is also a board member with the Maryland School for the Blind and Chairperson of their Human Resources Committee. He holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
