Guidelines | |
1. | Board of Director/Officer services are evaluated on a case by case basis. All BOD/Officer services are reviewed by the Committee on Outside Interests. |
| 2. | If your service is approved, you will be required to adhere to The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Guidelines for COI Review of Proposals to Serve on Boards of Directors of For-Profit Corporations. |
| 3. | Your service on a Board of Directors/Officer role should not conflict with your obligations to JHU. |
| 4. | You are not permitted to sit on a Board of Directors or act in an Office role as a representative of the Johns Hopkins University or the Johns Hopkins Hospital. |
| 5. | Do not accept any incentive payments while serving on a BOD or acting as an Officer. |
| 6. | While serving on a Board of Directors/Office, you should not participate in any activity that could constitute endorsement, promotion, or marketing of any product, technology or service. |
| 7. | The company cannot use the names, likenesses, or logos of JHU in any of their fund-raising or investment documents, publications, advertisements, or marketing materials, whether in print, electronic, or any other media. |
| 8. | Disclose your relationship with the company in all publications or public presentations of research related to, or sponsored by, the company. |
