- Speaking arrangements where the company has a measure of control over the material presented are not allowed. This includes situations where:
- The company provides slides or other materials for use in the talk.
- You are expected to act as a spokesperson for a company/product.
- The company has the right to dictate the content of your talk.
- Make certain that your presentation is scientifically rigorous, fair and balanced.
- You cannot disclose confidential information that is proprietary to JHU.
- You must disclose your relationship with the company in all related presentations.
- Be advised that the company cannot use the JHU names or logos without prior permission from the University*.
- As a speaker, you cannot state or imply that you are representing JHU.
