Oupatient Clinics

Outpatient Clinics

A coordinated team of Johns Hopkins rehabilitation professionals staffs our outpatient programs at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Outpatient Center, Green Spring Station, Bayview Medical Center, and the Good Samaritan Professional Office Building. All programs are physician-directed and offer experienced teams with specialized skills. We see patients with a wide range of disorders including:

  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke and other neurologic illnesses
  • Subacute and chronic pain disorders
  • Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Swallowing disorders
  • Amputation

Patients are evaluated by the physiatrist, who prescribes and coordinates treatment by the rehabilitation team. Where appropriate, patients may be referred for physical, occupational, speech, aquatic and/or other therapies; home equipment; home health care; or inpatient admission for comprehensive rehabilitation.
