Pegah Touradji, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, has received a Junior Investigator Grant Award from the Neuropsychology Division (Division 40) of the American Psychological Association. The project is entitled: Education, Literacy and Diabetes-Related Neuropsychological Test Performance in Urban African Americans. The purpose of this study is to examine methodological approaches for the use of education and literacy variables in the neuropsychological test performance of urban African Americans with diabetes.
