Jeffrey Willis Wins Award for the Rehabilitation Research Experience for Medical Students - Funded by the AAP

Jeff Willis, Ph.D., a third year medical student at the University of Maryland, has being awarded the Rehabilitation Research Experience for Medical Students (RREMS) to work over the summer with Pablo A. Celnik, MD as his mentor. Jeff obtained his Ph.D. in the School of Public Health of Johns Hopkins in the area of International Health. This award will support his research experience investigating the role of action observation on motor training in stroke patients. Ultimately, Jeff is interested in pursing an academic career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
