Dr. Kuhlemeier earned his Ph.D. in physiology at the University of Minnesota in 1972 and an M.P.H. in biostatistics from The Johns Hopkins University in 1988. He joined the faculty of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1988 as Director of Research Development. Dr. Kuhlemeier's research interests center around outcome evaluation and dysphagia and the epidemiologic aspects of acute and chronic disability.
