BHDC - Tissue Donation and Neuropathology

Research studies using human brain tissue are vital to the search for understanding and treatments of Huntington's disease (HD). Persons with HD who have been followed at Johns Hopkins, persons who are at risk for HD, and unaffected family members or friends can contribute to our understanding of the effects of HD on the brain by making a final gift of blood and tissue samples for diagnostic and research purposes. If you are interested in contributing in this way, the Center staff can provide information and counseling to help.

Services provided:

• Counseling
• Coordination of the autopsy
