Residency Application Process

RESIDENCY IN GENERAL PSYCHIATRY

Applications for eight PGY-I residency positions are accepted via ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service. At least three letters of recommendation from supervisors are required by the Johns Hopkins Residency in General Psychiatry.

Five additional residents are chosen at the PGY-II level. These residents apply via individual application forms (sent on request) or ERAS.

RESIDENCY IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

The Child and Adolescent Residency Program recruits six trainees each year. Applications are accepted beginning July 1 of the year prior to the anticipated start date. Interviews are conducted through the fall.
