Professional Interests
John T. Walkup, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore Maryland. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is the Principal Investigator of the National Institute of Mental Health funded Johns Hopkins Research Unit of Pediatric Psychopharmacology and Psychosocial Interventions. Dr. Walkup is the author of a number of articles and book chapters on psychopharmacology, Tourette's syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders.
