Professional Interests

  • Structural and functional MRI as tools to determine specific brain regions that are abnormal in various neuropsychiatric, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative disorders 
  • Using functional MRI and cognitive tasks (e.g., working memory, face perception) with disorders including traumatic brain injury, fetal alcohol syndrome, dyslexia, autism, and HIV dementia  
  • Determining the usefulness of structural and functional MRI in assessing treatment effectiveness
