THE NEWS:
The Johns Hopkins Surgery and Friends All Star Team will take on the Harlem Ambassadors in a friendly game of basketball. The Harlem Ambassadors, (http://www.harlemambassadors.com) a spin-off of the Harlem Globe Trotters, will face stiff competition from a team mostly made up of Johns Hopkins physicians.
The Surgery and Friends All Star Team includes doctors from collegiate basketball powerhouses: Jamie Flores, M.D., from the University of Maryland, Jon Weingart, M.D., from Duke University, Charles Yeo, M.D., and Jordan Winter, M.D., from Princeton University, and Edward Cromwell, M.D., and David Efron, M.D., from Brown University
The charity match is being sponsored by the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Baltimore County. All money and proceeds from this event will benefit the children of the Baltimore County PAL.
