Grateful patients and friends often ask how they can further the fight against head and neck cancer, laryngeal disorders affecting the voice, swallowing, and breathing, and olfaction disorders. A tax-deductible contribution to this worthwhile endeavor will further enable our clinicians and researchers to continue to make significant advances against these disorders. Although government grants and reimbursements for patient care continue to support research and educational endeavors, such funds have been drastically reduced in today's economic and political environment. Through private giving, we will ensure that the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery will continue in a tradition of excellence.
