Center Administrator 
Ms. Jett-Goheen is a certified Medical Technologist with over 20 years of bench experience in all areas of the clinical laboratory in various settings. She also has five years of experience as a Research Technician at the School of Public Health performing assays on specimens collected during human vaccine trials. She has 10 years of progressive management experience, and was the supervisor of the clinical microbiology laboratory at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As a qualified clinical laboratory technical director, Ms. Jett-Goheen has implemented and used point-of-care testing. She has conducted training in laboratory procedures and raised skill levels of laboratorians, written and revised policies and procedures, prepared for regulatory agency inspections, monitored laboratory safety precautions for compliance, and found new and innovative ways for specimen collection and storage. Her skills in service excellence, leadership, teambuilding, grant and fund management, outreach and communications, and health services administration will be an asset to each Core of the Center.
For this project, Ms. Jett-Goheen will manage and assist the Center team by providing a clear picture of the intricacies of the clinical environment with regard to day-to-day operations, implementing point-of-care testing, regulatory issues, and quality control and assessment. She will work closely with all Cores of the project to make sure they work in a collaborative fashion. Her skills as an administrator and a facilitator will assist Core leaders by keeping them apprised of progress and performance, and ensuring responsiveness to members of the research community, members of the Cores, POCT Network members, and NIH/NIBIB staff.
