The Moore Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital was the first HIV clinic in Maryland, and the 2nd oldest clinic in the United States. The Moore Clinic has been a national leader in the treatment of HIV infection, having served over 10,000 patients since opening in 1984. Previously treated patients should bring all records pertaining to prior treatment of HIV infection. Depending on the type of medical insurance, referrals may be required. This agency receives Ryan White funding to support clinical care of uninsured HIV persons and accepts patients who have no medical insurance.
