Johns Hopkins General Infectious Diseases Consultation Service

General Infectious Diseases Consultation, Outpatient

This outpatient consultation service provides diagnostic and therapeutic management of infectious diseases. These services include:

  • Consultation for diagnostic dilemmas such as fevers of unknown origin, granulomatous disorders, suspected Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections.
  • Expert advice on the diagnosis and management of bacterial, mycobacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic disorders.
  • Directing outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT)

Patients are seen at the Johns Hopkins Falls Concourse located in Lutherville, Maryland. Referrals and medical records may be requested before obtaining an appointment.
