This outpatient consultation service provides diagnostic and therapeutic management of infectious diseases. These services include:

• Consultation for diagnostic dilemmas such as fevers of unknown origin, granulomatous disorders, suspected Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections
• Expert advice on the diagnosis and management of bacterial, mycobacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic disorders
• Directing outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT)
• Outpatient ID consultations for transplant and oncology patients

Patients are seen at the Johns Hopkins Falls Concourse located in Lutherville, Maryland. Before scheduling an appointment, you must have the following information faxed to 410-583-2654, Attention Marlene for physician review:

1. A written physician order or referral stating the diagnosis and reason for ID consult
2. Clinical notes
3. Labs and/or Radiology reports
