Support the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program

For Johns Hopkins Medicine to remain one of the preeminent leaders in medical training, continued emphasis on the core ideals brought to Hopkins by Sir William Osler is required.  Scholastic activities that permit young physicians to satiate their academic curiosity are not easily funded and regulatory pressure on physicians, hospitals, and educational programs require us to develop a broader base of financial support, particularly for scholarly activities.

We created the Osler Fund For Scholarship as an opportunity for those who share the spirit of Oslerian medicine to provide support for its principles.  The Osler Fund will support scholastic activities of the medical housestaff, including innovations to improve patient care, research funding, and presentations at scientific meetings.  Contributions will directly impact housestaff education and career development.  These efforts are crucial to continue training physicians who take as their prime motivation the principles espoused by Sir William Osler.

Your support is greatly appreciated and will make a profound impact on maintaining the tradition of excellence in the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program.
