How your gift helps the Department of Medicine
The practice of medicine demands that we reach outside ourselves and our conventional limits-that we go beyond boundaries. At the Johns Hopkins Department of Medicine we do so in several ways, most notably in our diagnosis and treatment of complex, system-crossing disorders, and in our linking of research, care and teaching.
To assist in this mission, the Department benefits from the philanthropic support of individuals both in the way of current gifts to support on-going creative programs and planned estate gifts that help secure future funding. Philanthropic support is typically directed to an individual research or clinical program or to a Center focusing on the many dimensions of a disease.
Thank you for your partnership.
