Research Interests: I am interested in statistical problems in genetics, molecular biology and immunology. I am particularly interested in the development of improved methods for detecting and identifying genes contributing to variation in complex traits in humans and experimental organisms.

Teaching Activities: Instructor for the courses "Statistics for Laboratory Scientists" (140.615-616) amd Special Topics in Genetics and Genomics" (140.668) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; Co-organizer of the Short Course on Mathematical Approaches to the Analysis of Complex Phenotypes at The Jackson Laboratory, Bar Harbor, Maine
