Research Interests:
Research Interest. Dr Lazarus was an adviser to the President of Peking Union Medical College and its Medical Colege Hospital and the Ministry of Health for 3 years from 1999-2002. He was involved in introducing management reforms in health care delivery as China moves from a planned to market economy. In addition, he established a program in general internal medicine and evidence based medicine at PUMC. His major interests in international health are focussed on reform of heatlh care delivery with its consequent implications in organization, finance, management training, and data based decision making.
