Research Interests:
The research focus of my laboratory is on the molecular mechanism of tumor metastasis. The ongoing projects include: P2Y purinoceptor-mediated signal transduction pathway in regulation of growth and metastasis of human cancers; Regulation of ERK and p38-MAPK pathways by tyrosine phosphatases in the control of tumor metastasis; Correlation between matrix metalloproteinases expression and metastatic phenotype in human melanoma cells.
Teaching
Activities: Tumor Pathology for undergraduates; Signal transduction for post-graduates; Tumor metastasis for post-graduates; Hereditary cancer syndrome and tumor genetics for post-graduates.
