  • Heather Garvin has successfully defended her dissertation on 8/2/2012 and completed all degree requirements on 8/8/2012! Her dissertation was entitled, "The Effects of Living Conditions on Human Cranial and Postcranial Sexual Dimorphism." She has now received a tenure-track position at Mercyhurst University as an Assistant Professor of Anthropology. Fantastic work, Heather!

  • Dr. Kenneth D. Rose just returned from the 22nd International Senckenberg Conference known as "The World at the Time of Messel" held at the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt, Germany. Kenneth gave a keynote address entitled, "Importance of Messel for interpreting Eocene Holarctic mammalian faunas." Well done, Ken!
